Tutoring
MISSION OBJECTIVE

Provide a tutoring service available to CFI who have students needing extra support in ground school, helping reinforce concepts, clarify difficult topics, and build confidence for successful flight training

MISSION STRATEGY

  • 1 on 1 in person sessions to reinforce learning and complement online courses. 

  • Review FAA Knowledge exam results and strengthen weak areas.

  • Provide focused learning on areas of concern requested by the CFI. Examples would be Risk Management, Situational Awareness and Single Pilot Resource Management.

  • Special areas of focus include weather, communications, advanced systems and rating requirements.

​MISSION OUTCOME

  • Students who demonstrate knowledge of aviation standards, have an attitude of continuous learning, and seek proficiency in flying.

  • Attain measurable proficiency levels and a deep understanding of situational awareness in the process of learning aviation.

  • Deliver to the CFI a well grounded and knowledgeable student that will enhance flight training.

  • I am a private pilot with Commercial with Instrument Rating flying since 2011.

  • My passion is teaching and mentoring.   I worked in the IT field for 40 years and retiring in 2025 to pursue my passion.

  • I am based in Winston Salem area and I am available throughout North and South Carolina as well as Virginia.

  • ​

  • I own and fly a 1969 Bellanca Super Viking and enjoy connecting with fellow Viking enthusiasts. 

    • Location can be my office your a site of your choice.
